If you're like me you thoroughly enjoyed the most recent Laker—Celtic series. Inspired by the history between the two teams I've made an infographic comparing their Finals battles. Detail images are above, the full version is here. Not noted in the infographic, but interesting, the team with the better regular season record won 10 out of 12 times. Once LA had a worse record and won, and once Boston had a worse record and won.
Special thanks to basketball-reference.com, The Elias Sports Bureau would probably have more in depth information but unfortunately they don't seem to provide any information to the public, at least not online or without shelling out some cash.
